Yrjönkatu 27, Helsinki.</p>\n<p>🎫 Free admission.</p>\n<p>--</p>\n<p>PROGRAMME</p>\n<p>****17:00 - 17:45 | Claudio Dauelsberg</p>\n<p>with special guest bassist Jussi Hovilainen</p>\n<p>Pianist, arranger, composer, producer, and PhD professor at UNIRIO, Claudio Dauelsberg has recorded 9 CDs, 2 DVDs, and numerous singles. His Toccata adaptation for solo piano premiered at Carnegie Hall (New York), receiving praise from specialized critics for the originality and expressiveness of the pianistic writing.</p>\n<p>Creator, musical director, arranger, and pianist of PianOrquestra \"10 hands and 1 piano,\" he recorded 2 DVDs with the group, recognized by the Brazilian newspaper O Globo as one of the 10 best shows of the year, in addition to being awarded by initiatives such as Itaú Rumos and Classical Next.</p>\n<p>He has performed alongside artists such as Plácido Domingo, Bob Mintzer, Bireli Lagrene, Toots Thielemans, Chick Corea, Hermeto Pascoal, João Bosco, Nico Assumpção, Yamandu Costa, Toninho Horta, Marcos Suzano, among other great names in Brazilian and international music. He recently recorded and arranged PianOrquestra projects with Ana Canãs, Marcelo Jeneci, Tulipa Ruiz, Mariana Aydar, and João Bosco.</p>\n<p>Joining him is Jussi Hovilainen, a 27-year-old rising star of Finnish jazz currently pursuing his master's degree at the Sibelius Academy. Versatile and creative, Jussi is recognized for his musical sensitivity and compelling presence.</p>\n<p>****18:00 - 18:45 | Ricardo Bacelar</p>\n<p>Ricardo Bacelar is a Brazilian composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. Born in Fortaleza, he began his musical career at an early age, drawing inspiration from jazz, classical music, and Brazilian music. He is traveling to Finland for the first time to record a solo piano album in Helsinki, with video documentation, at the iconic Finnvox Studio—one of the most important recording studios in the country.</p>\n<p>Ricardo Bacelar has built an international career, gaining recognition on American jazz radio, where his albums remained among the top 50 most played for over six months. In July 2024, he completed his second tour in Japan, performing eight concerts in a country that greatly appreciates his music. Shortly after, he produced his first feature film, Flora Purim, Airto e seu som imaginário, currently in production, for which he serves as musical director and arranger. In 2025, he recorded an album and performed live in London at the legendary Abbey Road Studios with the group Front.</p>\n<p>As a producer and performer, Bacelar has collaborated with Ivan Lins, Leila Pinheiro, Flávio Venturini, Roberto Menescal, Fagner, Belchior, Ednardo, Toninho Horta, Flora Purim, Airto Moreira, Jaques Morelenbaum, Amelinha, and other Brazilian artists, as well as American singers Elena Rose, Maye Osorio, and Meghan Incorvaia. His discography includes more than 32 titles, including albums, singles, and EPs. With a body of work dedicated to preserving and promoting high-quality Brazilian music, he is currently working on six new albums to be released soon.
