Zone Critique, koreografia tanssille ja runolle on saanut nimensä ranskalaisen geokemisti Jérôme Gaillardet’n kirjasta La Terre habitable, jossa hän käsittelee ihmisen ja maapallon yhteenkietoutumista. Kriittinen vyöhyke, zone critique, on taivaan ja kallioiden välinen alue, jossa aurinkoenergia aktivoi vesien kierron ja telluurinen, maanpinnan ja vesistöjen läpi kulkeva hidas energia vaikuttaa maapallon pinnanmuodostukseen. Tällä välialueella tapahtuu kaikki maapallolla ilmenevä elämä ja joksikin tuleminen, joka pohjautuu vuotoihin, virheisiin erilaisten ekosysteemien välillä.

Jossa kurottaminen omien rajojen läpi ja kosketus toimivat yhteisen maailman mahdollistajina, virheidenkin kautta.
\n\nKoreografian lähteenä on suomenruotsalaisen runoilijan Martin Enckellin syksyllä 2026 ilmestyvän 999-runokokoelman nimetön päätösruno, jonka teemat liikkuvat maailmankaikkeuden käsittämättömyydessä, rakkaudessa, luonnonvoimien arvaamattomuudessa ja kaiken yhteenkietoutuneisuudessa.

The breathless and inexorable cadence of a poem generates a dance and a choreography shaped through rhythms and emotional imagery. Here, the act of touch and reaching beyond one's own boundaries become ways of making a shared world possible, even through mistakes and imperfections.
\n\nThe choreography draws on the untitled closing poem of 999, a poetry collection by the Finnish poet Martin Enckell. Its themes move through the incomprehensibility of the universe, love, the unpredictability of natural forces, and the interconnectedness of all things.
