"sv": "I år som alla andra år turnerar Årets stora julkonsert 2018 i nästan hela Svensk Finland. I år är satsar vi med stor okester igen och 3 av de mest folkkära artiterna just nu. Countrykungen Mats Rådberg från Sverige kommer att bjuda på julcountry låtar. Helene Nyberg kommer att bjuda på såväl nya som gamla välkända julsånger. Philip Järvenpää som förra året gjorde total succe kommer i år att göra tolkningar av kända artister samt en nyhet. Vi kommer att ha en gästartist varje kväll som är lokalt känd och får chans att vara med och bjuda på några jullåtar varje kväll. Vi kommer på vår facebook sida varje vecka att uppdatare vem artisten är som besöker de olika platserna.\n\nThomas Enroth leder bandet och detta blir magi!"

Hennes intresse för konst började redan som barn. I hennes tidigare utställningar har hon ställt ut bland annat landskap, havsvyer och människoavbildningar. Släktens rötter till Italien har även inspirerat henne at utforska alfresko-målningens tematik. Närmast Päivis hjärta står ändå havet och människan.\n\n- Havet avbildar människan bra på ett abstrakt vis. Ibland är man lugn, ibland är man stormig, förklarar Päivi. Till skillnad från människan som förändras under tidens gång, är ändå havet beständigt, fortsätter Päivi.\n\nPå sin utställning ”Havet beständigt, människan föränderlig” på Bock’s har Päivi koncentrerat sig på att avbilda just dessa två. Med finns också ett par alfresko-inspirerade målningar. \n\n- Tematiken i min utställning fokuserar mycket på de ändringar som speciellt de traditionella parförhållandena genomgått i och med livets och traditionernas modernisering. Det traditionella heterogena äktenskapet har fått sällskap av en rad nya kombinationer, berättar Päivi.\n\n- Nuförtiden skall också allt fås direkt och allt måste se så bra ut. Vi har blivit så bekväma av oss i internets tidevarv, beskriver Päivi, men mänsklighet, närhet och empati kan inte fås genom att trycka på en knapp, fortsätter hon."

Taidetta hän on harrastanut nuoresta pitäen ja pitänyt jo useita näyttelyitä. Vaikka Päivi myös maalaa maisemia, häntä kiehtoo kuitenkin eniten ihmisen ja meren maalaaminen. Päivin suvun italialaiset juuret ovat inspiroineet häntä tutkimaan myös al fresko -maalauksen tematiikkaa.\n\n- Meri kuvaa hyvin ihmisen liikkeitä, milloin tyyntä, milloin myrskyävää, Päivi kuvailee. Meri on myös pysyvä, ikuinen, mutta ihminen muuttuu ajan mukana, hän jatkaa. \nTämä aihepiiri on inspiroinut Päiviä etenkin normien ja parisuhteeseen liittyvien muutosten kuvaamisessa. Mukana on myös pari al fresko -suuntauksesta inspiraation saanutta maalausta.\n\n- Nykyään kaikki pitää saada heti näkemättä lainkaan vaivaa. Kaiken pitää myös näyttää hyvältä, Päivi kuvailee. Ihminen on muuttunut mukavuudenhaluiseksi netin ja napin aikakaudella, mutta inhimillisyys, läheisyys ja empatia eivät tule nappia painamalla, hän pohtii."

Tällä kertaa hän loihtii esiin kauniita ja rauhoittavan pehmeitä tunnelmia harvinaisten helmien parissa Vaasan kaupunginorkesterin solistina.\n\nKonsertin avaa vaikuttava, Felix Mendelssohnin Skotlannin–matkan innoittama Hebridit -alkusoitto. Seuraavana vuorossa on koskettavan kaunis, Reinecken balladi huilulle ja orkesterille, joka jäi säveltäjänsä viimeiseksi teokseksi ennen hänen kuolemaansa.\n\nEdvarg Grieg sävelsi Lyyrisiä kappaleita pianolle yhteensä 66, joista muutama on sovitettu orkesterille. Nämä kaksi hienoa kappaletta ovat norjalaisen säveltäjämestarin itsensä orkestroimia. Ranskalaisen Les Six -säveltäjäryhmään kuuluvan Francis Poulencin Huilusonaatti on taattua ranskalaista impressionismia Stravinsky-mausteilla. Konsertin päättää Schubertin melodinen toinen sinfonia.\n",

Sedan blir det Reineckes rörande vackra ballad för flöjt och orkester, vilket blev kompositörens sista verk före hans bortgång.\n\nEdvarg Grieg komponerade totalt 66 Lyriska stycken för piano, av vilka några är arrangerade för orkester. De här två fina styckena är orkestrerade av den norska kompositörmästaren själv. Flöjtsonaten av Francis Poulenc, som hör till den franska kompositörsgruppen Les Six består av garanterat fransk impressionism med Stravinskij-kryddor. Konserten avslutas med Schuberts melodiska andra symfoni.\n",

The next piece is Reinecke’s touchingly beautiful Ballade for Flute and Orchestra which was his last completed work before his death.\n\nEdvard Gried composed in total 66 Lyric Pieces for the piano, of which a few have been arranged for orchestra. These two fine pieces are arranged by the Norwegian master composer himself. Francis Poulenc was part of the ‘Les Six’, group of six French composers. His Flute Sonata is guaranteed French impressionism with a hint of Stravinsky. The concert ends with Schubert’s melodic second symphony.\n"
